Your personal data is processed for the following purposes: • Carrying out platform membership operations • Securely connecting Etsy and Shopify accounts • Providing listing optimisation, keyword research and competitor analysis services • Carrying out billing and payment operations • Providing user support and communication services • Maintaining the security and integrity of the platform • Fulfilling legal obligations
4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your data is processed on the following legal grounds under Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK: • Formation and Performance of a Contract: data that is necessary in order to provide the platform service • Legitimate Interest: system security, fraud prevention and improvement of service quality • Legal Obligation: record-keeping and reporting required by legal regulations • Explicit Consent: for marketing communications (separate consent is obtained)
5. Transfer of Personal Data
To the extent required by the service, your personal data may be transferred to the following parties: Etsy Inc. (USA): OAuth authorisation for the Etsy connection Shopify Inc. (Canada): API access for the Shopify connection Anthropic Inc. (USA): AI processing for listing optimisation (anonymised content) Payment Processor: secure transmission for subscription payments Data may be transferred to the USA, Canada and the UAE. These countries may not be regarded as providing an adequate level of protection under KVKK; however, transfers are carried out with the safeguards required by Article 9 of KVKK.
6. Retention Periods for Personal Data
• Membership data: for as long as the account is active + 30 days • Payment and invoice records: 5 years (statutory requirement) • Log and technical data: 90 days • Connection tokens: for the validity period of the token
7. Rights of Data Subjects
Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the following rights: a) to learn whether your personal data is being processed b) to request information if your personal data has been processed c) to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose d) to know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad e) to request rectification where the data is processed incompletely or inaccurately f) to request erasure or destruction of the data within the conditions set out in the Law g) to request that the operations carried out pursuant to paragraphs (e) and (f) be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred h) to object to a result to your detriment arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems i) to claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing
